NXT Level Youth Opportunity Center

Offers connections to education and career opportunities, support, and life coaching.

  • Ages: 16-24
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED Not Required
  • Income: Not working or working less than 30 hours a week
  • Support Services: food, finding a safe place to sleep, childcare, and transportation.

RESET for Women

Offers case management services to assist young women disconnected from school and employment to become financially, emotionally, and socially secure adults.   Participants receive support to reengage in education, training, and employment.

  • Education: High School Diploma/GED Not Required
  • Income:
  • Support Services: Women’s support group, education and job coaching, and referrals for childcare, therapeutic services, transportation, and medical assistance.


Transition Center

A one-stop shop offering case management, counseling, shelter, and life skills training for youth aging out of the foster care system.

  • Education: High School Diploma/GED Not Required
  • Support Services: Temporary housing that is provided to young adults who have aged out of foster care, are homeless, or are at risk of being homeless for up to 18 months.

San Antonio Youth: SOAR!

Participants complete their education by earning an accredited high school diploma while preparing to enter the workforce.

  • Ages: 16-23
  • Education: Not currently enrolled in school & have at least one high school credit.
  • Support Services: Participants are paired with an Academic Coach and a Student Engagement Specialist to help them achieve their education and workforce goals.

100 Black Men of San Antonio

100 Black Men of San Antonio offers YouthBuild San Antonio: a pre-apprenticeship program that provides job training and educational opportunities. Youth learn vocational skills in construction, as well as in other in-demand industries, including health care. Youth split their time between the vocational training work site and the classroom, where they earn their high school diploma.

  • Ages: 16-24
  • Education: Participants must have left school before graduation
  • Income: Low Income. Participants earn a stipend while in training.
  • Support Services: Mentoring, follow-up education, employment, and personal counseling. Support for those with judicial involvement.
