NXT Level Youth Opportunity Center
Offers connections to education and career opportunities, support, and life coaching.
- Ages: 16-24
- Education: High School Diploma/GED Not Required
- Income: Not working more than 30 hours a week
- Support Services: food, finding a safe place to sleep, childcare, and transportation.
RESET for Women
Offers case management services to assist young women disconnected from school and employment to become financially, emotionally, and socially secure adults. Participants receive support to reengage in education, training, and employment.

- Support Services: Women’s support group, education and job coaching, and referrals for childcare, therapeutic services, transportation, and medical assistance.
Community Health Worker Training
Through collaborative partnerships with local colleges, YWCA provides education and training to obtain certification. Participants will be enrolled in a paid 16-week educational course, including clinical rotations.
- Ages: 18 and older
- Education: High School Diploma/GED Not Required
- Support Services: Case management services, a stipend, mentors, job placement assistance, equipment and supplies needed to participate, and assistance with childcare, transportation, and technology.
Transition Center
A one-stop shop offering case management, counseling, shelter, and life skills training for youth aging out of the foster care system or returning home from juvenile justice institutions.
- Education: High School Diploma/GED Not Required
- Support Services: Temporary housing that is provided to young adults who have aged out of foster care, are homeless, or are at risk of being homeless for up to 18 months.
ConnectED
Participants are paired with a mentor/advocate and can earn a weekly stipend of for up to six weeks. This includes three weeks of paid skill building workshops and three weeks of paid advocacy support.

- Support Services: Advocate who will provide mentor-like support. Including transportation assistance, career coaching, financial education, goal setting, and employment support.
100 Black Men of San Antonio
100 Black Men of San Antonio offers YouthBuild San Antonio: a pre-apprenticeship program that provides job training and educational opportunities. Youth learn vocational skills in construction, as well as in other in-demand industries, including health care. Youth split their time between the vocational training work site and the classroom, where they earn their high school diploma.

- Education: Participants must have left school before graduation.
- Income: Low Income
- Support Services: Mentoring, follow-up education, employment, and personal counseling services.
