Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas
Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas Youth Services program offers career training, employment assistance, and 20 weeks of paid work experience. The program connects youth and young adults with a variety of in demand training opportunities such as CDL training, Healthcare, Dental Assisting, and others.
- Ages: 16-24
- Education: High School Diploma/GED Not Required and Currently Out of School
- Income Eligibility: low income or experience a barrier-to-employment like being out of school, a high school graduate needing career support, or facing challenges such as homelessness, foster care or justice involvement, pregnant or parenting, or living with a disability.
- Support Services: career coaching, Education support, paid work experience, and access to resources like transportation or child care.

Lone Star Justice Alliance
Young adults impacted by the justice system are eligible to participate in a heavy equipment operator training program. The program is a nine-week, hands-on training blending two weeks of classroom instruction with seven weeks of real-world experience under the guidance of a local employer. Each participant is paired with an LSJA case manager who provides personalized, 1-to-1 support throughout the program, connecting them to community resources and guiding them every step of the way.
